Senior .NET Developer

The Senior .Net Developer is responsible for building .Net applications using primarily C#, javascript, and MS SQL Server technologies. The primary responsibility of this role will be to design and develop features in any layer of our applications, and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. The Senior .Net Developer is committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality solution delivery. The Senior .Net Developer ensures the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Develop functional applications that meet business or client needs (80%) o Write clean, readable, and easily maintained code using .Net languages (primarily C#) o Upgrade, configure, and debug existing systems. o Provide technical support for web, desktop, or console applications. Enhance Software Development Delivery through Collaboration and Innovation (20%) o Collaborate with business stakeholders, onshore and offshore development resources, and VP of IT to develop business solutions. o Prepare requirements for offshore resources and code review features developed by those offshore resources. o Identify opportunities to consolidate and/or simplify tools or processes utilized for database and software development. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Participate in requirements analysis, estimation (Story Time), and sprint planning Write clean, scalable code using .Net C# and Javascript Test and deploy applications and systems Improve existing software Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support Job Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Full stack development experience Agile/Scrum development lifecycle exposure Desire to increase the breadth of their expertise to be able to fulfill the role of software architect ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Translate stories, use cases, and requirements documentation to functional applications Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues Ensure quality experience for all stakeholders Performs all other assigned duties COMPETENCIES Technical Capability Communication Proficiency Initiative Teamwork Oriented Problem Solving/Analysis Time Management QUALIFICATIONS Required Education and Experience o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent o 5+ years of experience in .Net software development o C#, jQuery, .Net Framework 3.5 or greater o Extensive experience working in SQL Server 2012 or greater o Experience in systems programming, integration and software architecture o Experience with employing automated unit test suites such as nUnit or xUnit Preferred Experience o Experience developing web services (SOAP, REST) and API?s o Angular.js or React.js a plus o JIRA/Bitbucket experience a plus o Healthcare/pharma services business experience a plus For immediate consideration, please send an updated resume with salary requirement to Christopher.Ciuppa@rht.com

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
