The Opportunity:
Our client, the Sue Adler Team, is one of the top producing real estate teams in the nation. This is a fast-paced organization with a lot of moving parts. They are a learning based team of specialists, with a culture of accountability and "above and beyond" service. We are looking for a real estate professional to join the team as a Listing Specialist trainee under Sue Adler. As Listing Specialist, you will take full responsibility for the full listing process of the listings you are handling. You will have administrative support throughout.. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a high level , top producing real estate team in a sales capacity while also earning a base salary.
What You'll Do:
Lead generation: You will play an integral part in continuing to build the listing side business. You will be responsible for lead follow up and conversion. Making sure that potential listing clients are kept in touch with and are always kept up to date with their own local market statistics.
Manage: You must be able to manage a high volume of listings (10-20 per month). Attend listing appointments ( typically 2 per day), host open houses and accompany showings when necessary. You must also be great at managing expectations and always over delivering on your promises.
Close the deal: You must be a tactful negotiator. Knowing when to push and when to take a soft approach to get the deal done.
Serve: Proactively communicate with clients and manage their expectations including managing contract negotiations. You will provide a world class, concierge-level of customer service to clients.
Own It: You will play a significant role in the success of the business and will take on this responsibility & accountability for your results with a sense of ownership, commitment, honesty, and integrity.
Who You Are:
Industry Experience and Education:. Prior real estate experience is not required. We are looking for a polished professional preferably with experience working in a consultative sales role to high net-worth individuals. Financial Advisors and Wall Street Bankers are encouraged to apply however we will consider applicants from all professional backgrounds.
An active real estate license is preferred but not required, however you will be required to obtain your license prior to employment. You LOVE to learn new things and are open to new ideas and systems. You have at least four years of higher education experience.
Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working with database management, CRM programs, and Microsoft Office programs. You have a knowledge or passion to learn about online real estate marketing. You have the aptitude to learn and use other systems such as DropBox, GoogleDocs, etc.
Strategic Thinker: You are proactive and not reactive.You are effective at communicating pricing, staging, timing, marketing, negotiation strategies for each listing.
SUPER Organized: You pay attention to the smallest details and are able to juggle multiple projects efficiently all while staying focused and keeping a smile on your face. You time block your appointments and follow up calls.. You have the ability to assess, prioritize, act quickly, and delegate. You operate with a high level of professionalism and present yourself as such.
A Relater: You know people. You know how to effectively communicate and consult with people both verbally and written, are solution-oriented and can Keep Calm and Carry On. You are empathetic, caring, great at building relationships and providing a superior level of service is of utmost importance to you. You have great instincts.
The ULTIMATE Team Player: You know your strengths and you are a positive, self-motivated, self-managed, engaged team member with a great attitude. You are willing to work 40+ hours per week with evening/weekend flexibility a must.
Confident Closer: You are not pushy, but you have a persuasive personality and you ask for the sale. You are not afraid to tell people the truth, even when they don't want to hear it.
The Details:
What You Earn: A competitive base salary commensurate on experience plus commission on closed transactions
Where: Short Hills, NJ
When: Full Time/Flexible. Flexibility on nights and weekends required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
