The Opportunity:
Our client, the Sue Adler Team, is one of the top producing real estate teams in the nation. This is a fast-paced organization with a lot of moving parts. They are a learning based organization, that rewards self-starters and innovators. We are looking for someone to handle Inspection Negotiations, Transaction Management including the entire Contract to Close process.
We are looking for a DRIVER; someone who takes ownership of their role and pushes projects forward. A solid understanding of construction terminology and common building issues is required background, as a builder or home inspector would be ideal. Prior real estate experience is preferred but not required.
Understands how to manage expectations of buyers and sellers through the transaction process. Able to effectively communicate inspection issues to clients and help them keep their eye on the big picture. You are confident and do not cave in to strong personalities.

What You'll Do:
Manage the Deal: You will play an integral part in ensuring a smooth transaction experience for clients. You will manage the contract-to-close process and provide closing support for the listing agents and assist with contract-to-close process for 5
Buyer's Agents. This involves scheduling inspections and reading inspection reports, reviewing all contractual paperwork for completeness, and negotiating on behalf of your client. Scheduling the follow up estimates and meeting the contractors to understand the whole issue, meeting with the town officials for the Certificates of Occupancy and curing items that need to be fixed quickly for closing, understanding how to address the walk through issues with regard to RESPA laws.
Inspect what you Expect: Travel to properties to ensure a positive client walk-through. Open the home for inspectors, and check on lighting and maintenance issues with property. Engage actively with all contractual requirements ASAP (contact lender's, inspectors, setup walkthroughs, schedule and coordinate signings etc.)
Communicate: Serve as liaison between all parties in the deal. Keep clients abreast of the status of their transaction and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
Serve: Provide a world class, concierge-level of customer service to clients. Push the transaction process forward and advocate for your clients.
Own It: You will play a significant role in the success of the business and will take on this responsibility with a sense of ownership, commitment, honesty, and integrity.

Who You Are:
Industry Experience and Education: You have 3
years of real estate transaction experience or come from the construction or home inspection industry. You have knowledge of Real Estate contracts.
Tech-Savvy: You have the aptitude to learn and use systems such as DropBox, Google Apps, etc.
SUPER Organized: You pay attention to the smallest detail and are able to juggle multiple projects efficiently all while staying focused and keeping a smile on your face. You excel at following up and following through and love checklists. You have the ability to assess, prioritize, act quickly and understand the importance of meeting deadlines. You operate with a high level of professionalism and present yourself as such.
A People Person: You know people. You know how to effectively communicate with people, are solution-oriented, and can Keep Calm and Carry On. You are able to professionally communicate contract terms and issues to clients in a reassuring manner.
The ULTIMATE Team Player: You know that your strengths are best utilized in a supportive role and value the importance of having a strong team. You are open and eager to learn new things. You are willing to work 40 hours per week with evening/weekend flexibility. You also have a reliable form of transportation and are licensed and insured.
Required: Candidates must have no more than a 30 minute commute to/from Short Hills
The Details:
What You Earn: A competitive base salary based on experience and aptitude.
Where: Short Hills, NJ
When: Full Time/Flexible. Flexibility on nights and weekends required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
