To support delivery of D&Bs process of establishing a Growth Transformation Global Program Management structure. The Associate will support incremental growth by automating transformational business and technology project(s) data analysis for D&B. This role will also be responsible for providing automated solutions for the PMO within this program structure, create reporting templates and senior executive dashboards based on project managers recommendations/findings and provide full coverage of PMO maintenance tasks to resolve problems.
The Global Program Management Office (GPMO) is looking for a Data and Automation Developer to further enhance its portfolio management toolset utilizing SharePoint 2013, Project Web Access, Project Server 2013, MS Office 2013 along with its suite of applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
Team member will innovate, design, develop and provide ongoing maintenance of the PMOs portfolio management toolset including:
Heavy data manipulation
SharePoint List design and maintenance
Automate generation of executive level dashboard reports for distribution
Automate and streamline of processes making them efficient resulting in time and cost savings
Scripts/codes and design templates are to be robust and dynamic to grow with the firms requirements
Eliminate manual data manipulation effort by automating with existing applications
Producing multi-level reporting on progress against key milestones using criteria such as RAGs for Overall, Resource, Risk, Scope, Timeline and Budget
Providing system administration for key applications within the project delivery tool set, assisting in tool development and team training
Position Requirements
Must have graduated from an accredited university and hold a BS in computer science or computer engineering
Must have 5
years direct experience with software development for PMO team and/or multiple business transformation or technology projects
Experience working with a PMO to implement Portfolio Management Toolsets
Ability to undertake the following a must:
Advanced skills in Office 365 (Access, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint 2013, MS Project Server 2013, SharePoint Designer, Info Path
Strong analytical and design skills including ability to extract requirements and recommend innovative solutions
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail including ability to review, analyze and manipulate data to produce quality management reports and maintain quality control
Strong testing background to ensure all requirements are fulfilled
Strong communication skills to be able to articulate technical designs and process to non-technology users
Must be proactive and own tasks delegated to drive results
Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
Demonstrates a passion to win who is accountable and takes ownership for commitments, delivering results that are consistently high quality and sustainable
Must have knowledge in Project management, process reengineering and business transformation
Develop macros, VB scripts and applications for toolset customization and automation
Design and construct databases
Develop and maintain SharePoint Lists with advanced customization utilizing InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, HTML and JavaScript
Construct and automate data pulls in VB Script from SharePoint to build professional dashboard reports based on predefined templates utilizing and manipulating data via Excel/Access/SharePoint
