The Growth Transformation Program Team is searching for a PMO Project Analyst to be located in our Short Hills, NJ, office. Candidates should have 2-3 years of total experience in a global PMO role supporting analytics and review of project data, RAG reporting and metric dashboards. Skills should also include presentation building, meeting minutes, good collaboration and communication skills and experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is to support the PMO Lead in the implementation of methodologies and best practice standards in program/project management across the project portfolio. Focusing on driving quality improvements and project manager training. This includes:
Operating within the Global PMO model while providing support for the Portfolio
Supporting and maintaining Portfolio level governance control procedures
Producing Portfolio level reporting to ensure projects progress against key criteria such as RAGs (Resources, Risk, Scope, Timeframe, and QA) is accurately reflected
Being detail oriented around Portfolio data that produces metrics
Supporting and maintaining project management methodologies to ensure a consistent approach to project delivery is taken across the portfolio through the use project management tools, processes and practices
Improving the skill level and capabilities of project managers within the global portfolio through establishment of training plans and materials
Track Global PMO roadmap milestones
Performing quality control process review checks to monitor the quality of project reporting and deliverables to drive improvements across the global portfolio
Providing system administration for key applications within the project delivery tool set, assisting in tool development and team training
Coordinating logistics and administration for all program governance meetings including report preparation, preparing agendas, scheduling and capturing actions items and minutes
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Must have graduated from an accredited university and hold a BS in business administration, information systems, or technology
Must have 2-3 years' direct experience with a PMO function and/or multiple business transformation or technology projects. This includes experience in:
Project management
Process reengineering and business transformation
Global portfolio reporting and project reporting
SDLC Implementation
Change Management
Risk & Issues Management
Experience maintaining integrated project schedule and monitoring and reporting on progress
Coordinate and identify dependencies and interdependencies between projects involved to successfully scope, size and drive implementation of identified transformation and growth opportunities
Experience working with business processes and re-engineering
Must have significant analytical skills to solve complex problems
Must have proven track record and ability to analyze and to identify areas of opportunities complete the root cause analysis and determine best path forward
Demonstrated interpersonal & leadership skills with heavy experience in dealing with senior management and all level including across global matrix teams
Strong presentation skills including creating well executed executive management materials
Ability to effectively communicate ideas in both written and spoken form to executive staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
Skills in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint 2013, HP Project and Portfolio
