The Sales Mobilization Team serves as a crucial link between the D&B Sales force and the many analytic, data, and scoring solutions that we develop and offer. Through our standard risk management, supply management and marketing data & scores, custom modeling engagements, customer data exploration, analytics, and consulting & best practices
, we deliver the key insight companies need to stay ahead, and support all Sales Channels in the sale of our analytic solutions.
The Analytical Consultant position plays a vital role in building and expanding customer relationships by interacting with our Sales colleagues, and plays a supporting role with our Product, Marketing, Sales Training and other peripheral teams. This position helps to enable sales to understand GDIA data & analytical capabilities, present strong value propositions, and drive revenue growth. Our Analytical Consultants exhibit strong expertise across the solutions we offer, and the various industries and functional areas which are targeted to expansion and revenue growth. From this base of knowledge and experience, the analytical consultant become experts on GDIA initiatives, are interactive partners with sales, develops sales collateral, builds content and delivers sales training.
Experience and Skill Set:
5+ years experience in developing and managing customer consulting engagements
o Strong experience in developing data- and analytically-oriented solutions
o Moderately-strong Vertical or Functional Market Orientation and Expertise
Financial Services, Insurance, Government, Tech, etc.
Risk Management, Supply Management and Sales & Marketing
Experience in all facets of the business lifecycle
1. Targeted Marketing
2. Originations/Portfolio Mgmt/Collections/Operations
3. Supplier Selection and On-Boarding
4. Supply Base Management and Off Boarding
o Customer-facing experience product support & consulting
Strong analytic skills model usage and validation, data analysis, strategy design
3-5 years of experience in Analytic Sales ability to construct solution, prove customer ROI, and successfully close on sales opportunities
Strong written, oral and presentation skills to address and influence customers, peers and senior leaders
Moderate project management skills required
Strong Dun & Bradstreet Data, Analytic, and Product knowledge
4-yr BS/BA degree in applicable business/analytic field
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
1. Become subject matter experts on all GDIA data and analytical initiatives
2. Create sales collateral and conduct sales training to support all sales channels
3. Help drive new Custom Analytic Revenue to meet GDIA Targets Models, Validations, Credit Line Recommendations, Trending & Benchmarking
4. Liaison with US Sales Channels to provide analytical best practice and data and analytic support in driving new analytic sales opportunities
1. Partner with sales operations and individual teams to plan/execute campaigns around driving new analytic sales
2. Conduct sales training sessions to mobilize the sales force on all GDIA related initiatives
3. Responsible for development of presentations, proposals, and statements of work, in support of analytic consulting engagements
5.Liaison to internal partners in each of Product (RMS, S&MS, SMS), Analytic Development, and Data Strategy
1. Implementation of new and existing analytic products/solutions targeted at our vertical customer segment to support our business goals
2. Develop and perform customer research and use cases to vet and design new opportunities
3. Contribute to Customer and Internal Webinars to support new product releases, ideation, and enhancements
6.Maintain active role within our Product Advisory Councils and all related Vertical Market
1. Drive Council Member attendance and advocacy, and support Event Content, Curriculum and Materials, Speakers, Workshops, Breakouts, etc.
7.Develop Industry Benchmarking and Trending Materials, and related White Papers and collateral, and work with GDIA Advocacy Group and RMS Marketing to publicize and promote
8.Anticipate moderate customer travel average 3-5 days per month
